Rescued Sea Lion That Was In Rehab Is Returned To The Pacific Ocean

A sea lion was rescued last month. That’s such a great news!

Now, sea lion has been returned to the sea.

“After a full month of rehabilitation, SeaWorld’s Rescue Team, in collaboration with veterinarians and NOAA, decided the sea lion was ready and approved to go back to his rightful home and was successfully returned to the ocean yesterday morning,” the park said in a statement.

Sea lion weighs around 200 pounds.

The SeaWorld San Diego Rescue Team saved the sea lion and later sent it for treatments.

But SeaWorld has said the animal had a history of ending up in odd places.

Sea lion was spotted in different places. At first, near the San Diego International Airport on the bay, later at Naval Base Point Loma…

Now animal is going home- he is returned to the Pacific Ocean after rehab.
